Swimming 101 – Private Lessons
Our Swimming 101 lessons are designed for beginner swimmers who are ready to start developing core swimming skills with focused, individualized instruction. With one-on-one attention, each swimmer progresses at their own pace in a calm and supportive environment, building both confidence and technique.
In these personalized sessions, we focus on:
Flutter Kicks: Swimmers learn to kick efficiently from the hips, creating smooth propulsion to move confidently through the water.
Introduction to Independent Back Float: With hands-on guidance, we gradually help swimmers feel comfortable floating on their backs without support.
Surface Swimming: We introduce forward movement in the water using beginner strokes and breath control—helping swimmers gain early independence.
Edge Surfing (Monkey Crawl): Swimmers build strength and safety awareness as they practice moving along the pool wall using hand-over-hand "monkey" movements.
