Swimming 301 – Private Lessons
Swimming 301 lessons are designed for swimmers who are ready to move beyond foundational skills and begin learning formal strokes. In these one-on-one sessions, we focus on building proper technique for freestyle and backstroke, helping swimmers move through the water with strength, efficiency, and confidence.
Each lesson is customized to your swimmer’s individual pace and includes:
Introduction to Freestyle: Swimmers begin learning the rhythm and coordination of freestyle, focusing on correct arm movement, flutter kick, and side breathing.
Introduction to Backstroke: We teach swimmers to stay streamlined and relaxed while using alternating arms and steady kicks on their back.
Proper Body Position: Emphasis on body alignment in the water to promote smooth, efficient movement for both strokes.
Head Orientation: Swimmers learn where to look and how to hold their heads for optimal balance, breath control, and coordination.
Arm Technique & Kicking: We break down arm mechanics and flutter kick for both strokes, with plenty of hands-on support, drills, and corrections.
Whether your child is building on earlier lessons or starting to refine their technique, Swimming 301 helps swimmers develop strong, foundational stroke mechanics that will set them up for long-term success in the pool.
